Digital Marketing Manager (f/m/*)

As a small, family-like team, we conceptualize, design, and develop websites and apps for different scenarios: for our clients, for ourselves, and as open-source software for everyone.  Right now, we are looking for support for our own digital brand marketing. Would that be something you're interested in?

  • On-site (Berlin), home office
  • Part-time (35 hours) or full-time (40 hours), flexible working hours, and unlimited employment contract
  • 1,000 € training budget per year
  • 55,000-75,000 € annual salary for 40 hours per week (depending on your experience)

You are missing!

To be honest: We have no clue about digital marketing. We are just damn good at building apps and websites. And that's exactly why we need you to turn überdosis into a viral brand.

Sounds good? Read on to find out how you can help us get on the right track.

Your tasks:

  • Planning and executing digital marketing and communication campaigns
  • Creating content for our digital marketing channels
  • Strategic positioning of content (tonality, addressing target groups)

To cut a long story short: We have a Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, and dribbble account, a YouTube channel, a blog, a website, and a hard-to-find newsletter. While we do create content for all of these channels from time to time, we don't have an overall strategy for telling the world how cool and cute we are on a regular basis.

You can ask every person on the team to support you in reaching our marketing goals. For example, you could ask our designers to create digital marketing assets for you, our developers to write expert content, or anyone else to give you interviews for daily insights for social media campaigns or the likes.

What we don't want: Spending money on ads on social media or bland and generic SEO content. That's definitely not us.

And by the way: While we don't have a tinder profile yet, perhaps it would be a fun hack to use it as a marketing channel? We don't know. It's up to you to tackle these unconventional methods.

Our expectations:

You are a match if you have at least 6 years of experience in digital brand marketing. You can do both: create creative, funny, and authentic digital campaigns as well as an overall strategy to communicate überdosis to our target audiences.

  • You have extensive experience in developing and maintaining digital marketing campaigns.
  • You can keep two to three social accounts in the air simultaneously.
  • You are independent, motivated, and reliable.
  • You have a friendly, confident demeanor.
  • You are precise and have an eye for detail.
  • You are an empathetic person who can involve and engage the team.
  • You are a good communicator.
  • You speak fluent German and English.

We know that our goal of turning überdosis into a viral brand is hard and challenging to measure. We consider your work to be successful when we continuously execute your communication plan and, by that, fill our client pool.

What we offer:

We avoid stress and extra hours wherever possible, and we do not expect constant availability. Health, life, and family always come first for us. 17 amazing colleagues, a modern workplace, a company iPhone, an up-to-date MacBook, and a large monitor are waiting for you. And while we do have a pretty cool office, you can work in your home office as often as you like.

You can choose how much you want to work for us. We consider at least 35 hours per week reasonable for this position and the regular tasks. Depending on how much you want to work, your gross annual salary will be reduced on a proportional basis from 40 hours per week.

In addition, we will provide you with an annual training budget of €1,000, which you can use as you wish.

Here's how it goes:

You think that all of the above sounds pretty good? Then write us why you want to work with us! What are your favorite social media channels? What is the philosophy behind your work in these channels? Describe a campaign that went well and why you think it did. A cover letter and a resume are enough for us. A photo is not necessary. We are excited to get to know you!

Please send your application via e-mail to sarah.schulz@ueber.io.

We usually reply to your e-mail within 48 hours. If your application has convinced us, you will receive an invitation to an approximately one-hour phone call or video call so that we can get to know each other personally. If we want to take the next step together, we will arrange a meeting shortly afterward for about two hours, during which we will talk specifically about our cooperation. At the latest, 14 days after your first e-mail, we will inform you about our decision.
