Laravel Developer (f/m/*)

We are a small, family-like team of creatives, designing and developing websites and apps for very different clients, for us and for the whole world as open source. We are looking for another PHP developer. Maybe that’s you?

  • Part-time or full-time (open-ended), flexible working hours
  • On-site (Berlin), home office or remote (Germany)
  • 1,000 €/year training budget
  • 48,000-60,000 € annual salary (depending on your experience)

You are missing in our team

We think that backend development requires attention to detail. We want to use technology in a way that makes our projects flexible, robust and maintainable. We take time for refactoring, pair programming and code reviews. We strive to make our code clean and readable.

With your help, we want to develop digital products that put the people who use them first. To achieve this, our designers want to conceive and design high-quality solutions together with you. In the end, the result will inspire people thanks to your implementation.

Our expectations

  • You have several years of experience writing applications in PHP.
  • You have experience with Laravel (or similar frameworks), working on large or complex applications.
  • You should know your way around databases, containerization, testing and continuous integration.
  • You have experience creating REST or GraphQL APIs.
  • You have experience with at least one CMS.
  • You are enthusiastic about high-quality visual design.
  • You speak English or German fluently.

Have a look at our projects, our GitHub profile or our tech stack to learn what we are doing all day long.

Your tasks

You will be involved in projects from the very beginning, your feedback improves the concept.

In close collaboration with the team, you develop applications (including the business logic) in an iterative process, for example, in combination in a web application, with a content management system, or in one of our open source projects.

When you find solutions along the way that other developers could benefit from, you will get the time to publish your code as an open source project.

What we offer

Eleven friendly colleagues, a chic workplace, a MacBook Pro and a huge monitor are waiting for you. You decide how many hours you want to work on a regular basis, part-time is the favorite in our team. There are moments when you need to care for your family and relatives, that’s why we support you with flexible working hours.

Education is an essential part of our business. You will be granted a yearly 1,000 € training budget.

We do everything we can to provide the conditions for a calm and focused work. We keep unnecessary meetings, tight deadlines, overtime and stress away from you. Work does not belong on vacation! All your accounts will be deactivated by default during this time.

You can work in your home office as often as you like. From time to time, we would like to see you in the office, for example, for a kickoff meeting or our joint breakfast. If you prefer to work remote, that’s fine too, as long as you are living somewhere in Germany.
